We’re Eylul and Emre, partners in life and in creativity. Together, we founded 8mm Social, a boutique content and social media agency based in Melbourne, built on our shared love of storytelling and authenticity.
Who We Are
Eylul’s passion for storytelling began long before 8mm Social. She first picked up a camera to share her everyday life on YouTube. Documenting experiences, daily vlogs, and personal moments (in Turkish). One of those videos, about her curly hair journey, reached over 1 million views and sparked a new direction: creating beauty and curly-hair content.
That discovery led her to Instagram, where she began producing Reels that often reached 1M+ views, blending personal storytelling with creativity. After working as a Marketing Assistant, she stepped into the freelance world, collaborating with brands worldwide, mainly in the curly hair and beauty industries.
It was during this journey that 8mm Social was born: a space to merge her creator experience with strategy, helping brands tell their stories in ways that feel human, authentic, and timeless.
